LOPEC adds market leaders to exhibitor list

So far, key market players such as Bosch-Rexroth, CDT, Fujifilm Dimatix, GSI, Heraeus, Kroenert, Merck, NovaCentrix, PolyIC, Thieme, Thin Film Electronics or VTT have registered as exhibitors while, among first-time exhibitors, Schott and the University of Tokyo will also participate. Together, LOPEC 2016 exhibitors will cover the entire value chain for printed electronics, from research to material production and manufacturing, right through to end-use applications. LOPEC therefore brings together technology and business.

Project Manager Anja Schneider draws a positive interim conclusion: "The high number of registrations already received from all over the world shows just how much is currently happening in the organic and printed electronics industry." More than 2,300 visitors from 42 countries took part in LOPEC 2015, with some 50 percent coming from abroad. As a result, LOPEC again confirms its pioneering role as the leading international platform for printed electronics.

The current business climate survey carried out by the OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association) also shows that organic and printed electronics are becoming increasingly important. Dr. Klaus Hecker, OE-A Managing Director, explains: "The developments in the industry look very promising. 80 percent of the companies surveyed anticipate the positive trend of 2015 to continue and expect an increase in sales of 18 percent for 2016.”
