Trade fairs in Bavaria to restart beginning August
In today’s cabinet meeting on July 20th, 2021, the Bavarian government granted official approval for trade fairs beginning on August 1st, 2021. The decisive factor for this was the successful implementation of the hygiene and infection protection concept at the pilot event TrendSet, which took place from July 10th to 12th on the grounds of Messe München.
Messe München cancels and postpones more trade fairs
The current pandemic situation makes it impossible to reliably plan for upcoming international in-person trade fairs in the first semester: therefore, having consulted closely with its customers and partners, Messe München is canceling f.re.e 2021 and INHORGENTA MUNICH 2021. LASER World of PHOTONICS 2021 will be postponed to 2022.
New Exhibition Director for electronica
electronica has a new Exhibition Director. She is Katja Stolle, who has been with Messe München over 13 years. Katja Stolle joined Messe München in 2006 after earning a degree in humanities. In 2012, she took over the exhibition management of analytica – the leading international trade fair for laboratory technology, analysis and biotechnology.
LOPEC 2017 looks set to impress
With the printed electronics industry now moving quickly from theory and ideas to real solutions, applications and products, LOPEC 2017 is set to provide conference delegates and exhibition visitors alike with the chance to see just how far this technology has come in the past decade. LOPEC will take place at the end of March next year.

The 2016 global revenue for products using printed and organic electronics is estimated at 26.9 billion US dollars, an annual increase of 31.8 percent since 2010. And according to the consulting firm Smithers Apex, the market volume is predicted to grow to an estimated 43 billion US dollars by 2020.
LASER World of PHOTONICS INDIA celebrates its 5th anniversary in Bangalore
From 21st-23rd September, 2016, LASER World of PHOTONICS INDIA will celebrate five successful years of being India’s international gathering for the laser and photonics industry. The international trade fair started in India in 2012 and has grown since. In 2016, around 160 exhibitors on 4,000m2 of space with around 7,000 visitors will be part of the fair in Bangalore.
electronica to add an additional hall
The International Trade Fair for Electronic Components, Systems and Applications is getting closer, and exhibitor demand is enormous. As a result, the upcoming electronica from November 8 to 11th, 2016 will feature an additional hall and will then occupy a total of 13 halls at the Messe München trade-fair centre.
