Essemtec Brazil announces that it will introduce the new Paraquda SMT pick-and-place system to the South American market in Booth N28 at the upcoming FIEE-ElectronicAmericas exhibition, scheduled to take place March 28-April 1, 2011 at the Anhembi Exhibitis Pavilion in São Paulo.

Paraquda is one of the world’s most modern SMT pick-and-place systems, developed to place all current and future SMD components with one single machine. Paraquda features ePlace, the intuitive and fully graphical user interface that simplifies operation and setup of production machines. After its success in Europe and North America, Paraquda now will be available for electronics manufacturers throughout South America

Essemtec, the Swiss manufacturer of production equipment, develops and produces high-quality and highly flexible machinery for electronics manufacturing. Essemtec is a real turnkey supplier, meaning that it can deliver complete production lines from one source, together with know-how, education, local service and, if required, customer-specific adaptations.

Essemtec Brazil was founded in 2009. It is a fully certified distributor for Essemtec's complete product line and holds spare parts in local stock. The company’s service and support staff has been trained in Switzerland and can provide in-depth machine and process training in Portuguese language.

Essemtec will present other products at FIEE, such as the Tucano and SP004 stencil printers, the entry-level automatic pick-and-place Pantera-XV, and the innovative Tower component storage system.
