Soldering station provides fast heating & heat recovery
The i-CON 1, a soldering station manufactured by Kurtz Ersa North America, is now available for sale worldwide. To provide fast heating and heat recovery, the 80W station uses the 150W i-Tool. This tool also ensures that the temperature of the soldering tip remains constant.
80W industrial soldering station is ultra-compact
Suitable for entry-level professionals, the i-CON NANO soldering station has been introduced by Kurtz Ersa North America. Featuring a footprint of only 145x80mm (5.7x3.1"), the manufacturer has claimed that the i-CON NANO is the first ultra-compact 80W industrial soldering station in the world.
Dispenser unit eliminates rework during SPI process
To repair deposits within its solder paste inspection machines, PARMI has introduced the Jet Solder Jet Dispenser Unit. Designed for the company's SIGMA X SPI series, the dispenser unit eliminates rework and scrap, maximises throughput and increases ROI.
Cleaning agent to show green credentials at SMTAI 2014
A stencil cleaning agent will be on display at SMTA International 2014, scheduled to take place between September 30th and October 1st, 2014 at the Donald Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. Kyzen's AQUANOX A8830 Stencil Cleaning Agent is an environmentally progressive formulation that is highly effective at removing all types of solder pastes from fine-pitch apertures.
Ethyl cyanoacrylate is non-toxic & ISO 10993-5 certified
Able to resist EtO and gamma sterilisation processes, the Master Bond MB250NT targets a variety of applications ranging from repair to high speed production for disposable/reusable medical devices. ISO 10993-5 certified, the single component ethyl cyanoacrylate cures rapidly depending upon the atmospheric humidity. This means the higher the level, the faster the rate of cure.
Soldering station targets entry-level professionals
A soldering station, suitable for entry-level professionals, has been released by Kurtz Ersa North America. At 80W and with a footprint of only 145x80mm, the i-CON PICO is both high powered and compact. The station uses i-tool PICO, which has more than 40 different i-Tip soldering tips of 102 series.
Nanopositioners provide frictionless flexure guidance system
Delivering nanometer-level performance in a compact, high-stiffness package, the QNP-L nanopositioning stages have been introduced by Aerotech. Applications ranging from microscopy to optics alignment benefit from the linear piezo nanopositioning stages, due to the variety of travel and feedback options available.
Hard-coats for ESCs extend life
To extend the life of alumina or beryllia ESCs (electrostatic chucks), Morgan Advanced Materials has released the Diamonex technical hard-coats. Made of diamond-like-carbon (DLC) and other nanocomposite materials, the films are adjusted to meet resistivity requirements of the ESC while protecting electronic layers.
Soldering stations target professionals & hobbyists
With a variety of products targeting production, rework, maintenance and hobbyists, Kurtz Ersa North America has introduced the i-CON family of soldering and de-soldering stations. The 80W i-CON PICO and i-CON NANO entry-level stations offer a footprint of only 145x80mm (5.7x3.1"). The i-CON PICO is intended for hobbyists, while the i-CON NANO is suited for industrial use, meeting all criteria for ESD protection.
Adhesives deliver shear strength of 12 MPa at +220 °C
A range of structural adhesives has been added to DELO's existing product portfolio. Boasting a shear strength of 12 MPa at temperatures up to +220 °C, the adhesives have been specifically designed for when components due to be bonded are exposed to high temperatures. DELO claim that the adhesives approximate a gain of 50% compared to established products, as many adhesives exhibit a strong performance drop at temperatures above +150 °C.
