Virtual Industries Inc has announced that it will will demonstrate the TWEEZER-VAC Elite and ADJUST-A-VAC Elite at the upcoming productronica show in Munich. The TWEEZER-VAC Elite allows a firm grip on critical components without dropping them due to a vacuum leak.

Techcon Systems has  announced the reintroduction of the previously discontinued TS755SG Syringe Gun due to high demand from customers.The TS700 Series manual syringe gun is a lightweight, hand-held, manually operated dispenser designed for dispensing fluid from pre-filled syringes. Each gun is supplied with sample syringe, piston and tip cap.

The researchers, from the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute and Konkuk University in the Republic of Korea, coated cotton and polyester yarn with an analogue called Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA). The yarns were then wrapped in graphene oxide sheets. Graphene is an incredibly strong one-atom-thick layer of carbon and is known for its excellent conductive properties of heat and electricity.

Formulated for potting, encapsulation, bonding and sealing applications, Master Bond EP17HT-100 is a single part epoxy system that is designed to cure in 60-90 minutes at 200-220°F. Cures can be accelerated at higher temperatures

It sounds like an engineering fantasy, or maybe an episode from Mission Impossible: A flock of small, single-use, unpowered delivery vehicles dropped from an aircraft, each of which literally vanishes after landing and delivering food or medical supplies to an isolated village during an epidemic or disaster.
