New from BVM is the CMB-374, a fanless barebone system is built around the LE-374 3.5in motherboard fitted with the Atom N270 ultra-low power processor running at 1.6GHz; mass storage can be added in the form of a 2.5” HDD or CompactFlash card. The unit offers low power consumption; the rugged enclosure of the unit acts as a heat sink as well as providing mechanical protection.
Integral mounting flanges enable the system to be easily integrated as a self-contained unit into kiosks, signage, self-service terminals, interactive clients, gaming, medical, POS, Digital Signage, surveillance and industrial automation equipment. The unit supports most popular operating systems including Windows XP and Linux.

The system supports numerous display types, includes VGA, DVI, LVDS and HDTV. The processor addresses up to 2GB of RAM with a 533MHz FSB. I/O capability includes 1 x RS232C and 1 x RS232/422/485 serial ports, 4 x USB2.0 ports, 2 x SATA interfaces and 1 x 8-bit GPIO. Giga LAN networking, 1 x Mini-PCI expansion socket and on-board Realtek ALC655 5.1 channel audio makes the unit extremely easy to configure for use in a wide range of audible and graphics rich applications.

Power is from a separate autoranging external 80W PSU that provides a 12VDC output.
