AVX’ Quick Connect Program Slashes Sample Connector Lead Times to 48 hours

“In many cases, these fine pitch connectors from all manufacturers are produced in Asia and therefore have associated long lead times, lengthening the design process”, comments Andy Kotas, AVX’s Connector Product Manager. “We have the world’s lowest profile FFC connectors and other technology leading products and by creating a program that enables our customers to order sample connectors off-the-shelf, we have drastically decreased the lead time of sample deliveries, thus expediting the prototype and design process for the customer.”

The defined list of parts available includes 0.5mm and 1mm pitch FFC connectors in right angle and straight formats, battery, SIM, I/O and low pin count wire to board connectors. All items available through the Quick Connect program are RoHS compliant.
