Mini-ITX embedded motherboards offer ultra-low power
Extending the company's portfolio of Mini-ITX motherboards, BMV has introduced the ASRock industrial IMB-150 and IMB-151. Featuring a fanless low profile design (IMB-151), the boards are optimised around the latest Intel Atom 22nm Celeron Quad Core J1900 2.42GHz (TPD 10.0W) or 2920 2.0GHz (TPD 7.5W) 64-bit SoC processors.
The ultra-low power requirements and stunning performance, originally developed for smartphones, tablets and other portable devices as an alternative to ARM-based boards, migrate to Point of Sale, kiosk, automation and PanelPC applications in the industrial space. This provides a very powerful computing engine for applications where high resolution display or image capture is required.
The highly integrated Baytrail SoC supports high-resolution VGA, LVDS and HDMI dual display, up to 1900x1220 at 60Hz, and is retinal display capable. The graphics and media engine is based on the Intel Gen7 HD graphic processor, which supports graphics burst, Open GL ES 3.3 and hardware video codec acceleration of multiple media formats.
Up to 16GB of 1333 MHz SDRAM is available. Two Gigabit LAN ports, one RS-232/422/485 and 5 RS-232 serial ports, two USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports, two SATA2 3.0Gb/s hard drive ports are provided. There is a shared Mini-PCIe and mSATA interface and full size PCIe slot. Power is from an external 9-19V DC supply with both AT and ATX power modes supported.
Windows 8.1 is fully supported out of the box and the board is supplied with both full size and half size I/O shield for easy installation.
