Daughter cards support Arduino-compatible EVE boards
FTDI Chip has announced a series of daughter cards (or shields) which support the company's previously released VM800P development platforms. Interfacing with the Arduino-compatible VM800P ‘PLUS boards’ via one or two Micro-MaTch miniature connectors, the six daughter cards enhance the boards’ I/O capabilities for implementation into a wider range of application scenarios.
Ginsbury, Toradex tie up partnership agreement
A partnership agreement has been signed between displays specialist Ginsbury and Toradex, a Swiss based embedded computing solutions supplier, to support and supply Toradex's extensive range of embedded computer modules. Toradex also offers a range of customised SBCs with different performance levels, integrated features and price points.

Fujitsu’s new ATX form factor mainboard D3348-B is based on an Intel C610 chipset, and it is compatible with all Intel processors with LGA2011 R3 sockets. Development kit based on TI processor
DAVE Embedded Systems has released the latest DIVA Embedded Linux Kit version 2.0.0 for the DIVA SOM based on Texas Instruments AM335x. Diva Embedded Linux Kit (DIVELK for short) provides all the necessary components required to set up the developing environment to build the bootloader (U-Boot), build and run Linux operating system on Diva-based systems and build Linux applications that will run on the target.
RapID Platform is certified to PROFINET v2.31
The RapID Platform Network Interface with the fido5000 REM Switch chip, manufactured by Innovasic, has been certified to PROFINET v2.31 for Class B and Class C devices. Conforming to Net Load Class III, the interface ensures cycle times down to 250µs are not affected by network traffic.
