Broadband Power Amplifier for 4G base stations
Nujira and RF Micro Devices announced that they will be demonstrating an efficient broadband power amplifier (PA) design for 4G base stations at Mobile World Congress, Barcelona, February 2010. The design integrates the new RFMD RFG1M family of high performance gallium nitride (GaN) amplifiers with Nujira's Coolteq.h envelope tracking power modulators.
Embedded World 2010: Industrial Networking for Automation in Focus
Silica is appearing at this year’s Embedded World fair in Nuremberg (March 2nd – 4th, 2010) entirely under the banner of “Networking for automation systems”. There will be a live demonstration of controlling a high-stack shelving system based on EtherCAT (Ethernet for Control Automation Technology) standards. The high-stack shelving system is used as an example to show how many things industrial Ethernet can do.
LT3029 - Dual 500mA Linear LDO Regulator with Independent Inputs Offers Ultralow Noise
Linear Technology announced the LT3029, a dual low noise, low dropout regulator with independent inputs and independent shutdown control for each channel. The device delivers up to 500mA per channel of continuous output current with a low dropout voltage of only 300mV at full load. The LT3029 features a wide input voltage range of 1.8V to 20V, delivering output voltages as low as 1.215V and up to 19.5V.
