The new E62 multi-Radio Access Technology (multi-RAT) integrator carrier grade platform is a compact format with dual-band radio, designed in close collaboration with the company’s customers and partners.
Wireless broadband networking with fast 5G speeds
Global enabler of the Internet of Things (IoT), Telit, has announced that it will be a providers of data cards based on Qualcomm Technologies’ second generation 5G New Radio (NR) modem, the Snapdragon X55 5G modem and their antenna modules with integrated RF transceiver, RF Front-End (RFFE) and antenna elements, representing an important milestone in the Telit roadmap.
3GPP RAN5 working group considers sub-6GHz FR1 conformance test
What is said to be the industry’s first Protocol Conformance test in the Sub-6GHz Frequency Range 1 (FR1) has been submitted to the 3GPP RAN5 working group for approval by Anritsu. The test defined by 3GPP TS38.523 has been verified with Exynos modem 5100 5G New Radio (NR) modem developed by Samsung’s System LSI Business on Anritsu ME7834NR Protocol Conformance test system.

High-definition video transmission test utilising 5G
Network technology specialist, NEC Corporation has contributed to a high-definition video transmission test utilising 5G with a high-speed train, conducted by NTT Communications, NTT DOCOMO and TOBU RAILWAY through the provision of a 5G base station. This test was conducted in Kasukabe City, Japan, using a train on the Tobu Skytree Line from December 17th to 21st, 2018.

GFC gives approval to Keysight 5G NR test toolset
Keysight Technologies has gained Global Certification Forum (GFC) approval for 5G New Radio (NR) Non-Standalone (NSA) test cases, enabling the mobile ecosystem to accelerate protocol and radio frequency (RF) device certification. The company's 5G Conformance Toolset, which supports both Protocol and RF/RRM achieved GCF approval on January 16, 2019 at the recent Conformance and Interoperability Agreement Group meeting.
