Advantech has announced the introduction of its ICR-4453 ultra-high-speed 5G NR router (New Radio) and powerful edge computing gateway focused on the global market. The 5G ‘gigabit’ speed, provides low latency and guaranteed quality (SLA) of connectivity and is a real step forward to massive IoT and enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) applications. The router also offers remote configuration, management and diagnostics.

Enea has announced that it has partnered with MATRIXX Software, provider of next-generation, real-time converged rating and charging for 5G. The combination of Enea’s Policy Manager and MATRIXX Software’s 5G Converged Charging System gives operators a turnkey, cloud-native policy and charging solution for 4G and 5G networks which can be deployed on public, private and hybrid clouds.

Enea has announced that a tier one North American operator has deployed its 5G network data layer (NDL) solution, Stratum to create a 3GPP Release 16 interoperability interface in a 5G standalone (5GSA) environment. The interface will allow the mobile operator to bring together all network and subscriber data from across its 4G and 5G networks.     

Rambus has announced the availability of a high-performance IPsec Packet Engine with integrated DPDK and companion key negotiation toolkit capable of securing 5G network traffic at data rates from one to 10Gbps. A complete IPsec solution, the packet engine can be easily integrated into SoCs for a broad range of 5G devices from base stations and cloud, to gateways and end devices.
