The first two workshops will take place in Overland Park, KS, and Bridgeton, MO. The Overland Park workshop is scheduled to take place on 22nd September, 2015 at the Embassy Suites Hotel. The Bridgeton workshop will follow on 24th September, 2015 at the Embassy Suites Hotel (St. Louis Airport). Both workshops will last from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and will be preceded by a hosted breakfast at 8:30 a.m.

The workshops will include multimedia presentations, hands-on demonstrations and instruction and will conclude with a Q&A session. Applications and topics include rework approaches for PoP, BGA, 0201 and LED. The afternoon is open for additional rework application questions and attendees are welcome to bring in boards.

The Cutting Edge Rework tour will be presented by Paul Wood, Advanced Product Applications Manager, and Rick Talbot, Regional Sales Manager. Mr. Talbot commented: “We had a great start with the Cutting Edge Rework tour earlier this year and we are looking forward to bringing it to new locations this fall. This will be the first time we have presented our workshops in the greater Kansas City and St. Louis areas.”

The workshops are recommended for manufacturing engineers, production managers, SMT process engineers, repair managers and technicians. Attendees are urged to visit www.metcal.com/workshop and register early because the first 20 to register for each location will be admitted for free.
