The global launch of the Robotic Soldering System has been announced by Metcal, with patented Connection Validation (CV) technology and a touchscreen graphical user interface to drastically mitigate the risk of solder joint defects and add productivity to the manufacturers’ soldering process.

Metcal today announced plans to exhibit at the SMTA Upper Midwest Expo & Tech Forum, scheduled to take place Thursday, 14th June, 2018 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Minneapolis - Park Place in Minneapolis, MN. The company will demonstrate its Connection Validation (CV) Soldering System with new hand-pieces, Digital Hot Air Pencil and Solder Tip Cleaner.

Metcal has announced plans to exhibit in Stand 1F38 at NEPCON China, scheduled to take place 24th to 26th April, 2018 at the Shanghai World EXPO Exhibition & Convention Center. Metcal has received a 2017 SMT China Vision Award in the category of Hand Soldering for the CV-5200 Connection Validation Soldering Station. The award was presented to the company on April 25, 2017 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center during NEPCON China. This is the second award that the company has received for Connection Validation since its introduction in early 2017.

Metcal has announced that it will exhibit with distributor SmartTec at the upcoming SMT/Hybrid/Packaging show. Metcal’s Scarab Site Cleaning System (APR-2000-SCS) will be on display, along with the Scorpion Rework System, the MX-5200 Soldering & Rework System, and the soon-to-be-launched Solder Wire Feeder.
