Infineon at CES 2023: smart home, electromobility and IoT security
Infineon Technologies has announced that it will highlight the company’s contributions to mitigate climate change and enable digital transformation at CES 2023.
Located at the Venetian Titian Ballrooms 2204 & 2205 and LVCC West Hall, Infineon will present IoT security solutions, smart sensors and dependable semiconductor solutions that help shape a sustainable future. With semiconductors at the heart of the transformation to a net zero economy, the company will display a number of demonstrations that outline its drive towards decarbonisation and digitalisation including:
Innovative, intelligent and IoT security solutions for a sustainable future
Located at the Venetian Titian Ballrooms, Infineon will showcase a variety of security solution ranging from state-of-the-art hardware security controllers with software, to Matter-enabled product solutions. Demonstrations include Infineon’s CIRRENT Cloud ID with OPTIGA Trust M Express for easy device provisioning and cloud onboarding.
The Cloud Connectivity Manager is a service that enables managing a secured device identity between the silicon and cloud layers. Other show highlights comprise Wi-Fi 6 LE audio demonstrations, along with a variety of Matter-enabled devices including battery-powered applications and a Wi-Fi smart lock, and many more.
As a IoT systems and power electronics specialist, Infineon will showcase value-added solutions to today’s green and digital transformation challenges. For example, Infineon is working with the non-profit organisation Rainforest Connection (RFCx) to use Infineon’s semiconductor solutions to help monitor and protect vulnerable rainforest ecosystems.
The technology enables RFCx and its partners to detect wildfires in real-time, along with other potential threats to wildlife. Along with this demonstration, Infineon will also showcase a variety of environmental, power, smart home and building applications. Demonstrations include Infineon’s smart alarm system (SAS) and XENSIV connected sensor kit (CSK) which were both selected as CES 2023 Innovation Award Honourees.
Driving decarbonisation and digitalisation through dependable electronics
At the LVCC West Hall, Infineon will showcase a wide range of automotive solutions in an open car frame. Highlights include Assisted Driving Assistance (ADAS), lighting systems, wireless battery management, and over-the-air security firmware updates, along with a variety of touch solutions throughout the vehicle. Infineon will also highlight its in-cabin monitoring systems solution using a 60GHz radar sensor and the HybridPACK Drive. Infineon’s EXCELON F-RAM used in automotive was also recently selected as a CES 2023 Innovation Award Honouree.
Additionally, Infineon will showcase the luxury Lucid Air Model EV with over a 400 mile range. The company will also demonstrate the REEcorner technology as part of a modular platform design for next-generation vehicles.
