Highly efficient Busbars to be highlighted at The Battery Show 2016

In addition to EVs and HEVs, ROLINX CapEasy and ROLINX CapPerformance capacitor-busbar assemblies are ideal for any power-management application requiring high-power handling capabilities in small, light-weight assemblies, such as in solar-power and wind-power systems. ROLINX CapEasy and ROLINX CapPerformance busbar assemblies benefit from Power Ring Film Capacitor technology from SBE, achieving DC voltage ratings as high as 12kV with power-handling capabilities to several hundred megawatts.

These reliable, busbar assemblies include metalised polypropylene film capacitors for enhanced power-handling capabilities in compact footprints. The capacitors exhibit low Equivalent Series inductance (ESL) and resistance (ESR) for low loss and excellent heat-transfer characteristics for effective thermal management in EV and HEV drive trains and other power-distribution applications.
