Exhibition results confirm the event as an excellent business platform
SPS IPC Drives was the highlight for the electric automation industry in 2015. Facts and figures of the detailed analysis as well as of the exhibitor and visitor survey speak for themselves. The international trade fair for electric automation, systems and components convinced the highly qualified exhibitors and visitors with new records again in 2015.
1,668 exhibitors took the chance to generate new business contacts and to intensify existing business relations. Moreover, the visitor survey confirms that the right clients were on site: 75 % of trade visitors are involved in their company’s decision making process of purchasing new products.
Magdalena Jimenez Camano, Marketing Manager of AXIOMTEK Deutschland, Langenfeld, confirms: “For us, there is no comparable exhibition in all of Germany, where you can present your product innovations to such an interesting audience as at SPS IPC Drives. Nowhere else will you reach so many decision makers out of such a big variety of industries – we will be part of it next year!"
Exhibitors of 44 countries participated in SPS IPC Drives 2015. About one third of the exhibitors came from outside Germany. Following Germany, the top 5 exhibiting nations were Italy, China, Switzerland, Austria and the USA. The share of international visitors also increased to 24 %.
The comprehensive market overview and many introduced product novelties of the exhibitors convinced the expert audience on site. The results of the visitor survey reflect how satisfied the trade visitors were: 91 % of visitors are already planning to visit the exhibition this year. 94 % evaluated the trade fair as very good/good, 97 % will recommend the event to their colleagues and clients.
