Call for papers PCIM Asia 2016

The Call for Papers for PCIM Asia 2016, China’s leading international user-oriented conference on power electronics, is now open. The deadline for submissions is 18th November 2015. Experts from industry and science are invited to present the latest developments and expectations for future trends in the power electronics industry.

Particularly in demand are applications for the specific and increasing demand of power electronics in Asia, as well as power electronics as enabling technology for the use of renewable energy and e-mobility.

The conference topics at a glance:

  • Environmental Friendly and Renewable Energy Technologies;
  • Advanced Power Semiconductors;
  • Passive Components and Integration;
  • AC/DC Converters;
  • DC/DC Converters;
  • Digital Power Conversion;
  • Motor Drive & Motion Control;
  • High Frequency Power Electronic Converters and Inverters;
  • Automotive Power Electronics;
  • Power Quality Solutions;
  • Smart Grid Power Electronics; and
  • Power Electronics in Transmission Systems.

Proposals will be considered for oral presentations or posters. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the international Board of Directors and the Technical Committee to ensure a high-quality conference. The accepted papers will be included in the official PCIM Asia proceedings and in the widely recognized libraries of IET Inspec and IEEEXplore.

For three outstanding contributions in the categories 'Young Engineer', 'Best Paper' and 'Best Paper Renewable Energy', three awards, each 4,000RMB, will be presented at the event. The PCIM Asia Conference will be taking place together with the PCIM Asia exhibition from 28th – 30th June 2016 in Shanghai, China and is co-located to the SPS Automation Shanghai. The conference language is English.
