At the beginning of February, the decision was made to postpone the PCIM Europe to late summer following talks with exhibitors and partners. In light of the ongoing pandemic and challenging situation, numerous industry players have been hesitant to commit to an on-site event. For this reason, Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH has decided to hold a digital event only.

The PCIM Europe exhibition and conference originally planned from 4th-6th May 2021 is to be postponed until 31st August - 2nd September 2021. The organiser, Mesago Messe Frankfurt, made this decision following discussions with exhibitors and partners. The venue remains the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre.

Due to the increasing spread of COVID-19 in Europe and the associated ban on all major German events up to, and including the end of August, the PCIM Europe exhibition and conference 2020 in Nuremberg has been cancelled. The event had already been postponed from May to 28th-30th July 2020, and will now take place again next year.
