Strike derails SENSOR+TEST fair
Clouded by the two-day strike of the German locomotive engineers union GDL, the 22nd SENSOR+TEST Measuring Fair in Nuremberg came to an end on the 22nd of May. After a considerable increase in visitors of about 15% on the first non-strike day of the fair, the exhibitors as well as the organisers had to acknowledge a noticeable decrease on the second and third day.
Microsemi hosts one-day Space Forum
Microsemi will be hosting a one-day Space Forum in five U.S. and international locations during June and August 2015. Free technical forums head to Oxford and Manchester
Motiv8 has stirred the pot for its two upcoming free technical forums for engineers in June attracting companies to the forums including ISSI and MobileMark Antenna Solutions. The forums covering RF and Wireless and LED and Lighting will take place at the Williams F1 Conference Centre at Grove, near Oxford on June 16 and at the Emirates Old Trafford (pictured), Manchester on June 18.
LED component portfolio lights up Thai expo
E has announced that it will introduce LED components for lighting, signage, infrared and automotive applications at LED Expo Thailand, taking place from 21st to 24th May 2015, in booth S03. The company's 0.2W 2016 series features compact size and a high flexibility of applications including tubes. The small pitch signage 18-035 series (0.5x0.5mm) will also be on display in this event.
