New Remploy Manager for Bolton

Remploy Electronics has appointed Carl Lawton as local Remploy manager at its Bolton facility. He will be in charge of the complete electronics manufacturing operations as well as having responsibility for the 68 staff working there. Prior to his latest promotion, Lawton was manufacturing manager at Remploy Electronics Bolton and has 12 years of employment with the company.
Previous to this, he was an inspector for Ferranti, where he was responsible for quality control on military contracts. Lawton holds a City and Guilds Electronics Wiring and Assembling qualification from the Portland Training College in Nottingham.

John Baker, business development manager for Remploy Electronics, commented: “With Carl we have an extremely experienced and qualified person in charge of the Bolton site. He is a prime example of our commitment to invest in people and to reward success with advancement and increased responsibility.”
