The LED symposium, LpS, in Bregenz was a complete success

Siegfried Luger, organizer and event director came to this conclusion: “The LpS in Bregenz is the leading, annual, international LED lighting technology event staged in the heart of Europe. Innovations, trends and technological breakthroughs in LED lighting are presented in an exciting atmosphere.”

Brian McNeill, Managing Director of the Scottish company, Systechnica Limited summed it up simply when he said: “The most important date on our calendar in 2012 is September 25th to 27th in Bregenz!”

I attend many trade fairs all over the world but the LpS 2011 turned out to be the missing piece to the puzzle when it comes to trade fair landscapes. At the LpS 2011 we showed a bit of what is achievable and are very happy with how the event ran as well as its success. The attendees from Asia were also more than happy with the LpS 2011. Heat was yesterday, light is today. Bregenz and the location on the lake- side of the Bodensee provided a beautiful backdrop for the important developments in lighting. Leading companies described their developments at the conference and showcased their products in the exhibition. The Bregenz Seebühne is a spectacular stage built on the lake – a very special place. The nice warm September weather was perfect for enjoying the trip to the LED professional Symposium.

Dr. Eng. Stelian Matei, Manager at Semiconductor Lighting Centre at Electromagnetica SA, compared LpS with other events and came to the following conclusion: I was not only impressed with the conference content, but with the venue and set-up as well. Over 40% of the exhibitors at the first event have already booked their booths for the LpS 2012.
