Southampton-based Hardware Development Partner, BVM, are putting their support behind a local grandmother’s fundraising skydive on 24th September, to raise money for children’s cancer charity, CLIC Sargent (http://www.clicsargent.org.uk/Home). Portsmouth residents, Janice Cooper and her family, received incredible support from the charity when her 3 year old grandson Matty, tragically died from a rare form of brain cancer last year.
Janice will be undertaking a 10,000ft skydive on Saturday 24th September at Old Sarum Airfield in Salisbury.

To support Janice with her fundraising, people can make a donation direct to CLIC Sargent via Virgin Money Giving at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/janicecooper.

Deborah Smith, BVM Sales Director, pledged her support for the appeal: “BVM are keen to work with local people trying to do their bit for charity, so when my neighbour, Jan, told me that she was going to do a skydive to raise money for CLIC, a charity that provided her and her family with a great deal on support during her grandson’s terrible illness, I wanted to help her raise as much money as possible.

The money raised will enable CLIC to extend their services to support families like Jan’s who have experienced the trauma of having a child diagnosed with cancer.
