Airbus' Defence and Space production hall in Warsaw, Poland recently had a smart lighting makeover. SchahlLED led the project with Filamento fixtures and Casambi controls taking on their first European co-installation. The new lighting scheme has produced fantastic results, with Airbus reporting 1.6x higher light levels at 71% energy savings, as well as noticeable improvements in worker-wellbeing and general productivity.

Melexis has introduced MLX81116, a multichannel RGB-LED driver. The MLX81116 supports the MeLiBu high speed communication IP to enable intelligent animated automotive lighting concepts. The technology is already being leveraged by global manufacturers to enhance the safety features of their latest models.

According to AMA Research’s latest Lighting Market Report, the move towards the use of LEDs has increased, where this technology is estimated to represent 14% of lighting appliances owned by UK households.
