Avnet is collaborating with STMicroelectronics at embedded world 2024 to showcase cloud connected solutions featuring Avnet's IoTConnect and ST's microcontrollers.

At the ST booth, visitors can experience a Hybrid Solar Inverter demonstration featuring the STM32H5 MCU.

This advanced microcontroller is a 2024 embedded world nominee for Safety and Security, having already earned recognition for its Secure Manager as Best in Show for Embedded Computing Design, embedded world 2023, as well as Product of the Year, Elektronik 2024.

"Avnet's IoTConnect leverages the advanced security features offered by the STM32H5 Secure Manager to ensure robust protection in cloud connected applications. Our collaboration dramatically eases the developer's access to the most advanced security available in general-purpose microcontrollers today," said Ricardo de Sa Earp, Executive Vice President, General-Purpose Microcontroller Sub-Group at STMicroelectronics.

Additionally, an AI/ML Audio Classification Demo based on ST's STM32U5 MCU will be featured at both the EBV and ST booths.

Alex Iuorio, Senior VP of Business Development at Avnet, stated, "In addition to the demonstrations on the STM32H5 and STM32U5 MCUs, Avnet is pleased to collaborate with ST on the recently announced STM32H7S MCU. Our collaboration includes support for IoTConnect on this latest secure MCU."

Witekio, an Avnet company, is leveraging their expertise in embedded development to provide software development kits (SDKs) for all showcased MCUs and demonstrations, ensuring seamless integration and maximum performance for developers utilizing Avnet and ST's technology stack.

Developers are also encouraged to explore Avnet's IoTConnectGithub, which features additional resources for integrating ST technology, including the STM32MP1 and STM32MP2 microprocessors, sensor products, and more.
