Get More for Less: New Intelligent 10.2 Display at the electronica 2012
demmel products presents the successor of its largest iLCD panel at this year’s electronica in Hall A3, Booth 434. The price has been reduced in spite of increased performance. As a result, the new 10.2 iLCD is an excellent alternative to often oversized and over-priced Panel PCs.
demmel product's Next Generation Intelligent LCD (iLCD) technology allows the user to store all graphics, animations, fonts, text templates and macros in the flash memory of the iLCD. Graphics and proprietary files can be also stored on an on-board MicroSD card.
Overall development time can be drastically reduced by eliminating the pixel-based programming required for conventional LCDs.
Color iLCD panels are available with touch screens in a wide range of formats from 2.8 (240 x 320 pixel) up to 10.2 (1024 x 600 pixel).
The integrated iLCD controller offers powerful and easy to learn high-level commands. Formatting text messages with Windows fonts, displaying static and animated graphics, drawing frames and lines and controlling the touch screen can all be done quickly and simply via Ethernet, USB, RS232, I²C or SPI interfaces.
At the electronica 2012, demmel products will present the first enhanced iLCD panel DPP-CT1060A (10.2) with a new state-of-the-art processor DPC3090, a considerably brighter display and significantly increased flash memory of 128MB. While fully compatible to its predecessor DPP-CT1060, execution times and transmission rates have been improved by over 50%.
With the easy-to-use Windows-based Integrated Development Environment (IDE) iLCD Manager XE, designing applications for touch screen iLCD panels in practically no time has never been easier. Thanks to new features such as Parameter Completion and Syntax Checking/Highlighting, no programming skills are required to design state of the art graphical interfaces.
Well-structured sample and demo projects promote a hands-on access to the powerful command set and can be customized and adopted for user applications.
iLCD Manager XE will be available in March, 2012, and can then be downloaded royalty-free.
