demmel products has expanded its product line. The 10.2" iLCD is now available with Projected Capacitive (PCAP) touch technology. All capacitive iLCD models from 5.0 to 10.2" are now suited for operation in rugged environments where vandal-proof or edgeless designs are necessary.

electronica saw demmel products announce the implementation of a Java Virtual Machine on board its intelligent display panels. A prototype was shown on the stand which allows the running of compiled Java code directly on the iLCD panels.

The embedded world exhibition in Nuremburg saw demmel products launch its iLCD Simulator which is part of the latest iLCD Manager XE version and allows evaluation of any iLCD panel without the need for a real version.

demmel products has announced the Font Anti-Aliasing feature for its entire product range, providing dramatically enhanced typography in user interfaces. Anti-aliasing provides smoother, more aesthetically-pleasing typography on the company's intelligent LCDs, reducing the jarring effect of frazzled, sharp, step-like letter edges, for an overall smoother appearance and improved readability.

electronica 2014 was the launch pad for demmel products latest iLCD models with capacitive touch screens. The 5.0in, 5.7in, and 7in iLCDs are now available with projected capacitive touch technology making them robust for operation outdoors and where vandal-proof designs are necessary.

Featuring the DPC3090 processor and 128MB flash memory, intelligent touch displays have been released by demmel products. The DPP-T43, DPP-T57 and DPP-T70 LCD displays, which are part of the company's iLCD product line, are claimed to provide 50% faster execution times and transmission rates compared to preceding models. 

At embedded World 2014, a LCD touch panel offering a luminance of 500cd/m² has been presented by demmel products. The touch panel, designated the DPP-HT50, signals an expansion of the company's  "Next Generation Intelligent LCD" (iLCD) technology which enables users to store all graphics, animations, fonts, text templates and macros in the flash memory of the iLCD. 

demmel products announces the expanded functionality of its iLCDs through Unicode fonts which now support all languages and scripts. The company is also launching a new 3.5 iLCD, the second model in its product portfolio with a faster processor and enhanced memory.

demmel products has expanded its product portfolio of intelligent LCD panels with a new 4.3in iLC. The range of panels available is from 3.5 to 10.2in and consists of five different color iLCDs. All models have the same set of commands and electrical connections. If necessary, iLCDs of different sizes can easily be exchanged without modifying the hard- or software of the controlling application.
