Tracking the transport of blood samples with a radio module

Würth Elektronik eiSos has supported the winning team in the start-up competition 'DX-Labtrack' at the Hackathon TECHFEST in Munich from 14th to 17th June, 2018. Based on the AMBER PI design kit, they developed a prototype that permits documentation of proper transport of blood samples. On the subsequent 'Launchpad Day', the next project steps were specified between the representatives of DX-Labtrack and Würth Elektronik eiSos.

Board-to-board butt joints

Two row pin and socket strips in the 90° SMT design in a space saving 2.0 mm grid are the most recent members of the WR-PHD of Würth Elektronik eiSos product family. Positioning pegs on the pin strip permit precise placement on the PCB and prevent ‘floating’ while soldering.
