Mini I/O Type I connector features real-time Ethernet bus system
TE announced that the VARAN Bus User Organisation (VNO) recommends using TE’s Industrial Mini I/O Type I connector for VARAN’s real-time Ethernet bus system. “We believe TE’s Industrial Mini I/O connector is the reliable input/output connector choice in support of VARAN’s real-time bus system for machine automation and at a quarter of the size of a conventional RJ45, their Industrial Mini I/O offers substantial space...
Circular hybrid connector increases flexibility & speed
The company's first solution of its kind, TE Connectivity has announced a Circular Hybrid Connector (CHC) for use in hydraulic and pneumatic valve controllers. The CHC has eight power and four data contacts and was designed for real-time machine automation applications that require a high-performance data connection and power up to 10A.
Temperature sensors stabilise harsh environmental effects
TE Connectivity has announced a series of low cost, compact pipe-mount temperature sensors that reliably measure the harsh, varying environments of HVACR systems. The IH-492 series, to be showcased at the AHR Expo from 25th to 27th January, 2016 in Orlando, features a glass-encapsulated NTC thermistor potted in a fast response copper housing for exceptionally stable and accurate measurement in high moisture and freeze/thaw applications.
Ethernet pin-out recommendations ensure interoperability
TE Connectivity has released Ethernet pin-out recommendations for its range of Industrial Mini I/O connectors, ensuring equipment interoperability while meeting the needs of Ethernet users.
TE Connectivity exhibit at DesignCon 2016
At the DesignCon 2016 Expo in California, 20th to 21st January, TE Connectivity will showcase a range of industry-leading data communications connectivity solutions in booth 811. TE will offer both working demonstrations and displays of the latest products delivering the speed, scalability, space-savings, reduced thermals, power and reach that design engineers need for their next project.
Rectangular HDCs operate reliably in harsh environments
At SPS IPC Drives 2015 in Nuremberg, TE Connectivity launched a range of rectangular HDCs (Heavy Duty Connectors), suitable for applications in harsh environments within machinery, robotics, railway, wind energy and conventional energy generation and distribution. The product range utilises a modular design, enabling customers to realise a structured approach to install equipment conveniently and efficiently.
TE contributes to eSleek15 Racing Car Student Project
TE Connectivity has announced its support of the DHBW students’ 2015 entry for the Formula Student Germany 2015 competition by providing its space-saving and reliable Industrial Mini I/O connectors. With these connectors, the team was able to build a highly reliable electric battery control system for the eSleek15 Formula Racing Car.
TE catalogue highlights its sensor technologies
TE Connectivity has announced a catalogue highlighting its broad portfolio of sensor technologies. The catalogue also profiles markets served and wide range of applications. TE categorises its products into 18 sensor type sections. Each section is introduced with a brief description followed by simple product tables and specifications.
Connectors stand up to harsh environments
With the DEUTSCH DT Series TE Connectivity offers connectors for harsh environments. The connectors are designed specifically for cable to cable applications.
