3-in-2 card connector enables SIM & micro SD card connectivity

TE Connectivity (TE) has announced its 3-in-2 card connector, an ideal solution for enabling SIM and micro SD card connectivity in mobile phones, tablets, ultraportable devices and personal computers. This card connector’s space-efficient design features two cavities with the flexibility to accept either two SIM cards or one SIM card and one micro SD card. It saves about 20 percent PCB space over other combination-type card connectors.

Potting junction box handles power outputs from solar panels

TE Connectivity offers the SOLARLOK PV Bar, a new potting junction box for solar crystalline panels. Designed with improved robustness and reliability for handling increased power output, it is TUV and UL approved for voltages of up to 1500 V and has been engineered to maximise lifetime with three times the IEC standard aging tests.
