DC motor driver IC realises 0.1µA in standby mode
Toshiba Electronics Europe introduce a full-bridge DC motor driver IC which achieves power supply current in standby mode of 0.1µA or less. Toshiba have introduced a new series of enterprise SSD which has been designed specifically to support the widest possible range of read intensive-applications. Supporting one full drive write per day with 100% random data workload, the PX03SNx series is available in four differnt capacities: 200GB (PX03SNF020), 400GB (PX03SNF040), 800GB (PX03SNF080) and 1.6TB (PX03SNB160).
Automotive brushed DC motor driver ICs
Expanding its line-up of small sized brushed DC motor drivers for automotive applications, Toshiba introduce the TB9101FNG and TB9102FNG motor driver ICs. Supplied in a 5.6 mm x 7.8 mm SSOP24 package, the TB9101FNG and TB9102FNG feature on-resistances of 0.6Ω (Typ.) and 0.5Ω (Typ.), respectively, and can drive up to two and six motors, respectively.
Industry's lowest ON resistance found in new switch series
The TCK20xG load switch series, launched today by Toshiba, features the industry’s lowest ON resistance of just 18.4mΩ at an input voltage of only 0.75V. Suitable for use as power management switch ICs in portable devices, the new switch series fullfills the demand for efficient power management units in mobile devices.
Automotive brushless sensorless motor controller IC
Toshiba announce the introduction of a new three-phase brushless sensorless motor controller IC. Integrated with automotive pre-drivers, the TB9061AFNG enables cars equipped with an idling reduction system cut out to easily switch the power source for oil and engine cooling pumps from the engine to an electric motor.
CMOS image sensor for automotive camera applications
Toshiba announce the introduction of a new VGA, 1/4 inch CMOS image sensor for automotive driver assistance system applications such as rear view cameras for parking assist systems, surround view systems and side view systems. The TCM5126GBA features a pixel size of 5.6μm and a full resolution frame rate of 60fps.
32GB FlashAir cards simplify wireless photo sharing
Toshiba Electronics Europe introduce a new 32GB SD card, expanding its existing range of next-generation FlashAir wireless LAN SD cards. The new card features a new “internet pass-through” mode to further simplifies photo sharing. Toshiba introduce the TB9042FTG, a multi-output system power supply IC. Enhancing monitoring functions in general automotive applications, the TB9042FTG incorporates multiple monitoring functions that detect any malfunctions of the IC and external microcontrollers. It also integrates a transmitting function that transfers data on monitoring status to an external microcontroller, which further supports improved safety.

A new range of Enterprise Endurance SSDs designed for business-critical server and storage platforms has been unveiled by Toshiba Electronics Europe. Toshiba introduces 650V SiC Schottky Barrier Diodes

Drive costs down with new Toshiba LEDs

Toshiba have announced a new Dual Mode Bluetooth IC that is compliant with the latest Bluetooth v4.0 communication standard. The new TC35661SBG-501 IC can support both Bluetooth Classic and Low Energy communication methods and will find applications in a range of wireless data communication devices such as remote controllers, sensor devices, toys, medical equipment and smartphone accessories.
