Texas Instruments have today announced two new differential amplifiers, the THS4531A and THS4532. Offering the industry’s best power-to-performance ratio, the single-channel THS4531A and dual-channel THS4532 reduce power consumption by 80 percent, compared to the closest competitor. The new differential amplifiers are capable of achieving seven times the bandwidth with one-fourth of the input referred noise.

TI's Multi-mode PMU extends Battery Life in MCU-based systems
Texas Instruments has today announced a new multi-mode power management unit, the TPS65290. Enabling ultra-low total system quiescent current as low as 100 nA, the TPS65290 PMU minimizes power consumption in battery-powered, microcontroller-based water and gas meters and other industrial applications. The new power management unit manages all power requirements in the system, including load conditions from 100 nA to 500 mA.
