Provider of measurement solutions, Tektronix, will showcase the latest in optical test innovation for datacenter networking at ECOC 2018, the largest optical communications exhibition in Europe. Tektronix will be hosting industry experts from leading research and commercial companies to discuss the trends and opportunities for emerging optical communications designs.
USB spectrum analyser series adds 13GHz and 18GHz models
The RSA500 family of rugged, battery powered USB-based spectrum analysers from Tekronix has been extended with the addition of the RSA513A and RSA518A offering 13GHz and 18GHz frequency range respectively. Along with their higher frequency support, these instruments provide the ability to stream I & Q data for customers to perform analysis consistent with software-defined radio functionality.
Three-channel power supplies deliver up to 375W
Programmable, low-noise, three-channel power supplies that deliver up to 375W in a compact 2U high, half-rack-wide enclosure have been introduced by Tektronix. The Keithley Series 2230G is designed for maximum flexibility, accuracy, and low noise when testing high power, multi-voltage circuits such as LED drivers, automotive, and power-IC circuits.
SPMI protocol decode speeds mobile device debug
Protocol decode, triggering and analysis support for the MIPI Alliance’s System Power Management Interface (SPMI) has been announced by Tektronix for its 5 and 6 Series MSO mixed signal oscilloscopes. The software option takes advantage of the oscilloscopes touch-based setup, 15.6in. HD display for showing multiple buses and low-noise power rail voltages.
Testing the future with mixed signal oscilloscopes
In this video from Tektronix, you will see tests of the future with Tektronix new 6 series MSO mixed signal oscilloscope.
Mixed-signal scope brings 8GHz bandwidth to mid-range market
Lee Morgan, Market Development Manager at Tektronix UK is in no doubt. “The need for designers to address embedded device test is becoming more and more prevalent to accommodate the needs of designers working on faster, more complex embedded systems designs.”
Streaming capabilities enhance radar performance monitoring
It has been announced Tektronix, that they are adding IQFlow functionality to their RSA7100A wideband signal analysis solution. This enhancement delivers the speed and flexibility needed to perform real time digital signal processing (DSP) and support hardware in the loop (HWIL or HIL) test for radar and electronic warfare (EW) systems.
Single carrier wireless link travels at 100Gb/s data rate
A single carrier wireless link travelling at a 100 Gb/s data rate has been demonstrated by Tektronix and IEMN, a major French research laboratory. This demonstration uses advanced data coding, THz photonics and wideband and linear devices to enable ultra-fast wireless connections in the 252 - 325GHz band per the recently published IEEE 802.15.3d standard.
Source measure unit meets 3D sensing test challenges
The Keithley Model 2606B System SourceMeter from Tektronix is an instrument that packs four 20W SMU channels into a single 1U form factor chassis. Targeting the growing 3D sensing manufacturing industry, the rackspace-saving Model 2606B combines a precision power supply, true current source, 6½-digit DMM, arbitrary waveform generator, and pulse generator into one instrument.
DMM and DAQ simplify & enhance test setup
A 6½-digit Bench/System Digital Multimeter, the Keithley DMM6500, and DAQ6510 Data Acquisition and Logging Multimeter System have been launched by Tektronix These new instruments combine the simplicity of a “pinch and zoom” touchscreen interface for easy and faster test setup and at-a-glance monitoring and display with the power of 15 different measurement functions, wide measurement ranges and multichannel measurements.
