TDK Corporation has expanded its portfolio of compact thin-film metal power inductors with a type designed for demanding automotive applications. Measuring in at a mere 2.0x1.6x1.0mm, the TDK TFM201610ALMA thin-film metal power inductor features the world's highest rated current of 1.9A for a power inductor of its size. Its rated inductance is 2.2 µH.
High efficiency 3x5” medical power supply delivers 250W
TDK Corporation announces the introduction of the TDK-Lambda CUS200M series of AC/DC power supplies. With efficiencies up to 94%, the series can deliver 200W with convection cooling or up to 250W with 1.5m/s airflow. The units, packaged in the industry standard 3x5” footprint, have both medical and ITE certification to the IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60950-1 regulatory standards.
Capacitors feature C0G & NP0 temperature characteristics
TDK Corporation has expanded its CGA lineup of high-voltage MLCCs for automotive applications. The CGA6 and CGA9 series of MLCCs, which have a rated voltage of 1000V, feature types with capacitances ranging from 1 to 33nF, the world's widest range. Also included in this range is the P27 series with a lead spacing of 7.5mm. These components have a disk thickness of ≤7 mm and are designed for maximum currents of up to 30A, depending on the type.

TDK Corporation presents the P27 series of EPCOS NTC inrush current limiters (ICLs) with a nominal disk diameter of 27mm and lead spacing of 7.5mm, thus extending the portfolio of large NTC ICLs for industrial electronics applications. The high material density of the NTC ICLs enables a volume-efficient, high-performance design with a disk thickness of just ≤7mm.

The iAH series of 40A Point of Load (POL) non-isolated DC-DC converters from TDK Corporation measure 10.2mm high with a 33mm x 13.5mm footprint. TDK Corporation announces the introduction of the iBH series of 80W, 20A Point of Load (POL) non-isolated DC/DC converters, featuring a wide 0.7 to 5.5V output adjustment range. The iBH converters can operate from either 5 or 12Vdc bus voltages, having a wide input voltage range of 3.5 to 14V, reducing inventory carrying costs by stocking just one part number.

The DTM165 series of medically certified 165W external power supplies has been introduced by TDK Corporation. Tested to the 3rd edition of IEC 60601-1, the products have 4,000V AC isolation from input to output and earth leakage currents of less than 300µA.
SMD push-pull transformers measure just 9x8x5.7mm
TDK has announced a series of SMD push-pull transformers featuring compact dimensions of just 9x8x5.7mm. The series comprises five types with different transformation ratios ranging between 1:1 and 1:3.8. This enables voltage ratios of 5 to 5V or 3.3 to 12V to be implemented. Windings with centre taps are located on both the primary and secondary side and, depending on the type, the inductance values of the primary winding are 9.5-94µH.
The world's smallest Bluetooth 4.1 smart module
TDK has announced the world's smallest module for the latest Bluetooth 4.1 specification. The ultra-compact (3.5x3.5x1.0mm) SESUB-PAN-D14580 module reduces the footprint by over 60% compared to modules with discrete components. With a voltage supply of 3.0V, its current consumption is only 5.0mA when transmitting, 5.4mA when receiving and 0.8µA in standby mode.
