Rittal is expanding its range of configurators for the Comfort Panel and Optipanel command panels by adding another engineering tool: the new Configurator for support arm systems. Rittal has announced that they have attained accreditation with SAFEcontractor and are now an approved contractor for the Installation and Baying of Server Racks with Cooling Cabinets (Water Cooled). SAFE Contractor is an accreditation scheme that recognizes very high standards of health and safety practice.

A new concept in VME64x and CompactPCI rack-mounted system design is now available from Rittal in the form of a set of horizontally cooled housings.
