Renesas expand RX631 32-bit MCUs with on-chip PDC

Renesas Electronics announce the expansion of its RX631 Group in the RX600 Series of 32-bit microcontrollers with the introduction of 15 new devices for commercial and building automation applications. Low-power MCUs for environmental sensor modules

Renesas has expanded its popular RL78 Series of microcontrollers with 40 new RL78/L1C devices that integrate LCD display functions, USB functions, and 12-bit A/D converters on a single chip. The new RL78/L1C MCUs can interface to a wide range of sensors such as pressure, temperature, and proximity sensors, and are ideal for portable monitors and mobile healthcare applications, such as blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring equipment.

Renesas announce 4MB advanced low-power SRAM devices

Renesas Electronics have today announced the introduction of 12 new product versions in the RMLV0416E, RMLV0414E, and RMLV0408E series of Advanced Low-Power SRAM, the company’s flagship static random access memory devices. The new memory devices have a density of 4 megabits and utilize a fine fabrication process technology with a circuit linewidth of 110 nanometers.

Robust control algorithm added to Renesas RX63T MCU

Renesas appoint Gerd Look as CEO of European Operation

Renesas has today revealed the appointment of Gerd Look as President and CEO of Renesas Electronics Europe. Currently General Manager of Renesas Electronics Europe’s Automotive Business Group, Gerd Look will assume his new role on 1 October 2013.
