The new cable and device connectors of the RJ45 Industrial series from Phoenix Contact enable data rates of up to 10Gbps and are particularly suitable for demanding industrial Ethernet applications.
Phoenix Contact e-mobility expanding to Poland
Phoenix Contact e-mobility has announced that it is expanding its production capacity with a new facility in Poland. The 15,000m² plant at the Science and Technology Park Rzeszów-Dworzysko will be built by full-service industrial real estate developer Panattoni. The new facility is set to be completed by the end of 2020/start of 2021.
Connectors for energy storage systems
Phoenix Contact has released new connectors for energy storage systems. The device and cable connectors are protected against polarity reversal and can be rotated 360°. This makes them particularly suitable for flexible cable outlets in modular battery racks.
Phoenix Contact M12 connectors with push-pull locking
Phoenix Contact has extended its portfolio of M12 connectors with push-pull fast locking system: the A-, D-, and L-coded device connectors with pin contacts are available with the appropriate push-pull housing screw connections for SMD and THR processes. Alternatively, there are also versions for wave soldering.
Headers from Phoenix Contact with 7.62mm pitch
The new horizontal and vertical headers from Phoenix Contact with 7.62mm pitch are specifically tailored to the requirements of power electronics and are compatible with the LPC 6 and PC 6/.. ST-BUS series.
SKEDD direct connectors with crimp connection
Phoenix Contact has introduced its new double-row SKEDD direct connectors with crimp connection. The CDDC 1,5 and CDDC 2,5 product series are well suited for applications with a high contact density.
Disconnect applications safely with Push-in Technology
The PT 6 P/P HV disconnect terminal blocks with Push-in technology connection from Phoenix Contact are characterised by the easy-to-use connection technology and disconnect element. The switching state can be clearly seen at all times.
New voltage variants under 100W
The Quint Power power supplies from Phoenix Contact in the power range up to 100W are now also available with special voltages of five and 12V. Three new single-phase power supply units (5V DC with 5A, 12V DC with 2.5A and 7.5A) supplement the portfolio, which until now has included 24V devices in the power range of up to 100W.
Shielded double-row PCB connectors
It has been announced that shielded PCB connectors in 2.54mm pitch are now supplementing the existing Phoenix Contact product portfolio. Due to their EMC shielding, the DMCC series double-row connectors enable the reliable supply of data and power to devices – also via a single Ethernet cable (PoE).
Power supply with 40A output current and multi-stage PFC
The new Quint Power power supplies with 40A output current from Phoenix Contact feature innovative new functions, including the single-phase device with a multi-stage PFC on the input side optimises the degree of efficiency across the entire power range to achieve a long service life. The three-phase device does not generate any inrush current, therefore preventing unintended tripping of the backup fuse after a short mains interruption.
More wiring space in heavy-duty connectors
The new tall sleeve and surface mounting housings for Heavycon Standard B-series connectors from Phoenix Contact are particularly suitable for modular applications. Their taller design and larger cable outlets in M50 format provide more space for wiring. This also means larger cable diameters and cable bundles can be connected conveniently.
Connector provides assembly for simple motor connections
The new QPD installation system connector for assembly from Phoenix Contact has been designed specifically to connect motors such as those of retractable awnings or external blinds. The robust and vibration-proof housing is highly reliable and protected against splash water and dust due to its IP54 degree of protection.
