Panasonic starts mass production of high-speed gate driver

  Panasonic announced that it will start mass production of a high-speed gate driver (AN34092B) optimised for driving its GaN power transistor X-GaN in November 2016. The company will also start mass production of two types of X-GaN (PGA26E07BA and PGA26E19BA) and provide solutions in combination with high-speed gate drivers.

Thinnest insulation solution from Panasonic

Panasonic Automotive & Industrial Systems Europe just introduced a thermal insulation sheet said to be the thinnest insulation solution currently available on the market. The NASBIS (Nano Silica Balloon Insulation Sheet) high-performance thermal insulation sheet comes with a thickness of 50μm, 100 μm, 500 μm, or 1000 μm and an ultra low thermal conductivity of 0.018 to 0.024 W/mK.

Panasonic releases 2nd gen Grid-EYE infrared array sensors

Panasonic Automotive & Industrial Systems Europe has released its much improved and accurate 2nd gen Grid-EYE infrared array sensors. The high gain (AMG8833 and AMG8834) and low gain types (AMG8853 and AMG8854) now benefit from an improved Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD) of 0.16°C at 10Hz and of 0.05°C at 1Hz.

Capacitors offer low ESR & high capacitance values

Offering a long life time of up to 5,000 hours (2.5 times more than current FT series devices) at high temperatures of up to +105°C, Panasonic Automotive & Industrial Systems Europe has announced the V-FT series of aluminium electrolytic capacitors.
