Resonant LLC power IC offers easy design

NXP has announced its TEA1916+TEA1995 GreenChip power solution, an easy-to-design Resonant LLC solution targeted for desktop PC/AiO, gaming consoles, notebook adapters and large panel TVs. The TEA1916+TEA1995 Platform offers high efficiency, especially at light loads of 10-30%, meeting efficiency regulations including Energy Star v6, CoC tier 2, 80+ platinum and EuP Iot6.

NFC public transport system trialled in Barcelona

Hearing aid uses less energy for twice the processing power

Cold chain monitoring solution addresses logger inadequacies

A disposable temperature logging foil demonstrator for cold chain monitoring has been developed by NXP and Enfucell. According to the NXP, the loggers currently used for cold chain monitoring are inadequate. Chemical temperature loggers can only detect simple cold chain excursion and do not indicate when the event occurred, while reusable electronic loggers can only be deployed at pallet level.
