NEC Electronics has developed Advanced PPmL, an extension to the Point-to-Point mini-LVDS (PPmL) next-generation interface for large-screen liquid crystal display (LCD) televisions. Advanced PPmL is a new interface technology for connecting timing controller ICs with LCD driver ICs.
