1,200V SiC Schottky diodes introduced at PCIM 2017
Littelfuse has concluded their programme for the PCIM (Power Conversion and Intelligent Motion) Europe 2017 Exhibition. The highlight of this year’s exhibition was the introduction of the GEN2 Series of 1200V SiC Schottky Diodes featuring near-zero recovery time and low forward voltage for higher system efficiency. Samples are now available upon request via links on the SiC Schottky Diodes new products page.
Single-fuse solution offers protection from ultra-high currents
Littelfuse has introduced a series of UL approved high current, surface mount fuses. Designed for applications that require both a compact footprint and protection from ultra-high currents, the Nano2 881 Series High Current SMD Fuses offer a single fuse solution up to 75VDC and are available in current ratings from 60A to 100A.
Low capacitance TVS diode arrays offer better protection
Littelfuse has introduced a series of a low capacitance TVS Diode Arrays designed to protect high speed, differential data lines against Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Cable Discharge Events (CDE), Electrical Fast Transients (EFT), and lightning induced surges.
1,200V SiC Schottky diodes offer low switching losses
The first GEN2 Series of 1,200V Silicon Carbide (SiC) Schottky diodes has been introduced by Littelfuse, in conjunction with the start of the PCIM Europe 2017 Exhibition. These SiC diodes are the first in a series of products based on the technology platform created through a partnership with Monolith Semiconductor. Additional silicon carbide products based on the technology platform, including 1,200V SiC MOSFETs, are already in the pipeline...
Surface mount PPTC devices protect charging cables from overheating
PCIM Europe 2017: Compact, and with low resistance, the PolySwitch LoRho series of surface mount PPTCs offer higher voltage, over-current/over-temperature protection, and resettability, says Littelfuse.
Stay lit with open LED protectors
A range of open LED protectors has been introduced by Littelfuse, the PLEDxN series. These surface mount devices, which are designed for use with high-brightness, 1W LEDs with a nominal 350mA current at 3V, provide a switching electronic shunt path when an LED in an LED string or array fails as an open circuit. They are designed to reset automatically if the LED heals itself or the power is cycled.
