Arbitrary waveform generator enables multi-level signal scenarios
A 92GSa/s, 32GHz modular instrument has been added to its portfolio of arbitrary waveform generators by Keysight Technologies. The high-speed, wide-bandwidth M8196A arbitrary waveform generator allows engineers to generate digital, multi-level (e.g., PAM-4, PAM-8, DMT) signal scenarios at 8 bits vertical resolution and test their electrical and optical links with complex modulated signals up to 64GBaud.
Network analyser options aid passive component makers

The new Reference Solution is designed for accelerating advanced research of millimeter-wave 5G channel models and includes ultra-broadband and MIMO, key requirements to measure the millimeter-wave channel and validate new air interface standards.
PAM-4 solutions boost BERT's performance
PAM-4 measurement solutions with support for PAM-4 data formats and built-in error counters have been added to Keysight Technologies M8000 Series BER test solutions. Enhanced thermal imagers operate at high temperature
Two higher temperature models have been added to the Keysight Technologies thermal imagers portfolio. The U5856A and U5857A can perform temperature measurements up to 650 and 1200°C respectively. This allows users to detect a wide temperature range for various applications such as petrochemical and steel processing, electrical and mechanical applications, building maintenance and even electronics applications.

Battery life test solution set to meet UE acceptance
A battery life test solution that will meet UE acceptance is being developed by Keysight Technologies and W2BI, an Advantest Group company. The test solution was developed in accordance with a number of test cases as defined within CTIA Battery Life Test Plan rev 1.0 and TS.09-v7.6.
