IDT addresses real-time application needs of cloud computing end users
IDT has announced that it has launched an Open High-Performance Analytics and Computing (HPAC) Lab to address the real-time application needs of enterprise and cloud computing end users. The lab supports heterogeneous processing technologies from CPU and accelerator vendors who are connecting their hardware with IDT’s portfolio of RapidIO and PCIe interconnect semiconductors, advanced timing and memory interface products.
Create a simple PCIe clock with flexible outputs
Expanding its VersaClock 5 family, Integrated Device Technology has announced programmable clock generators that simplify the creation of PCIe clocks while providing flexible outputs. The 5P49V5907 and 5P49V5908 have three outputs that can generate any frequency up to 350MHz in various output types.
3.3V PCIe clock generators operate at just 100mW
Expanding its low-power PCIe portfolio of clock generators, Integrated Device Technology has announced six and eight output 3.3V clock generators. The 9FGL06 and 9FGL08 operate at approximately 100mW (roughly one-fifth the power of traditional PCIe clock devices), making them the lowest power 3.3V PCIe clock generators on the market and effectively eliminating thermal concerns.

Low-loss RF variable attenuator suits wideband comms
Integrated Device Technology has expanded its advanced RF silicon solutions with the addition of two Glitch-Free Digital Step Attenuators (DSAs), as well as its first product in a new family of Voltage Variable Attenuators (VVAs). IDT enables wireless charging for the LG G4
IDT announced that LG has integrated an IDT wireless power receiver into its flagship G4 model. LG’s G4 has IDT’s P9025A chip built into the motherboard, delivering compact size and a simplified application circuit. LG chose IDT as the sole-source vendor for the wireless charging capabilities in its latest state-of-the-art portable device. LG previously chose an IDT chip to deliver wireless charging in the previous-gen G3 smartphone.

The 5P49V5933 and 5P49V5935 deliver the features of IDT’s VersaClock 5 clock generators while reducing PCB space and cost through the integration of a crystal.
RF synthesiser/PLL combines high performance with low power
Featuring low power consumption and excellent phase noise performance, a wideband RF synthesiser/PLL has been introduced by Integrated Device Technology. The 8V97051 also generates fewer and lower power spurs than similar competing devices, which, combined with the power and phase noise, offers a unique competitive advantage for achieving optimal RF transmission and reception.

IKEA choose power transmitters for easy wireless charging
Integrated Device Technology has announced that IKEA has chosen its wireless power transmitters to embed in its furniture and accessories for convenient wireless charging of enabled portable devices. IDT’s P9030 magnetic induction transmitters are embedded in the latest IKEA products including side tables and lamps. The 5PB11xx family provides low-jitter metrics of less than 50fs RMS additive phase jitter (12KHz to 20MHz), offering system designers greater jitter margin than competitive products to help them meet system clock requirements.
