Fairchild has launched the world’s first 1000V integrated power switch, offering the industry’s highest breakdown voltage in a single package for designing reliable switching mode power supplies for smart meter, appliance and industrial systems. The FSL4110LR integrated power switch eliminates the need for external components found in competing solutions, enabling power designers to easily meet their time to market and reduce BOM.

Fairchild has announced its 1200V Motion SPM 2 modules for high-voltage industrial applications. Enabling high power PFC control using the smallest possible inductors, the FAN9673 has been introduced by Fairchild Semiconductor. The world's first three-channel interleaved continuous conduction mode (CCM) PFC controller (according to the manufacturer), it allows the use of the lowest possible power rating switching devices, extending the capacitors' lifetime.

Permitting the device to directly drive 1200V IGBTs, the FOD8332 advanced 2.5A output current IGBT/MOSFET drive optocoupler has been introduced by Fairchild.
