Essemtec announces that it will showcase flexible Swiss-made solutions in Booth #3233 at the upcoming IPC APEX Expo, scheduled to take place February 19-21, 2013 at the San Diego Convention Center in California.

Variable width feeders increase the flexibility and reduce the total number of required feeders in production. Essemtec now introduces the PC-TF16-24 hyQ feeder for Paraquda and Cobra pick-and-place machines. The new feeder can be used for both 16 and 24 mm tape widths.

Essemtec now offers a fully featured dispensing option for its Paraquda high-speed SMD pick-and-place system. The new option extends the placement machine’s application range: In addition to placing 15'000 components per hour, the Paraquda now can dispense up to 20,000 glue or paste dots per hour.

Project Manager Prabath Lewdeni found the SMD Tower by chance. Its supplier Essemtec re-engineered the SMD component storage system into clean room storage for ABB.

Fourth generation ePlace software makes operating an SMD pick-and-place machine easier while saving both time and money. Due to Windows 7 and an SQL database, the system is simpler to integrate as well. ePlace 4.0 is the most modern graphical user-machine interface from Essemtec. Currently, various SMD placement machines are compatible with ePlace, including Paraquda and Cobra.
