On 27th February 2018, the first day of the embedded world exhibition and conference, the eyes of the embedded community were once again drawn to Nuremberg for the traditional presentation of the embedded awards. For the 14th time, the coveted industry accolade recognises the most innovative development achievements in the categories hardware, software and tools.

The first day of last week’s embedded world exhibition in Nuremberg saw the embedded AWARDS ceremony recognise the most innovative development related accomplishments in the hardware, software and tools categories. Dr Roland Fleck, the Managing Director of NürnbergMesse, and Professor Matthias Sturm, the Chair of the jury, handed over the prizes.

The biggest embedded world ever closes with new records
Once again, the embedded world Exhibition and Conference has confirmed its outstanding role for the international embedded community. This year’s event broke new records after three action-packed and exciting days of trade fair and congress: 30,063 trade visitors (+17%), around a third of whom were from outside Germany, and 939 exhibiting companies (+4%) from 38 countries.

The twelfth edition of the embedded world Exhibition&Conference 2014 has closed with a record number of visitors. 26,714 specialist visitors came from all over the world to Nuremberg, where this year’s even greater offering provided an opportunity to gather information and to engage in dialogue with colleagues, 856 exhibitors and over 1,500 conference participants.
