Coilcraft’s new XGL4030 Series of high-performance, moulded power inductors offer up to 40% lower DCR than the previous inductors as well as extremely low AC losses, resulting in the best overall efficiency over a wide range of AC ripple current.
Power inductors reduce DC resistance by up to 40%
High-performance, moulded power inductors offer up to 40% lower DCR than the previous best-in-class inductors have been introduced by Coilcraft.
Low-profile power inductors at embedded world
Coilcraft’s stand (Hall 3 / 3-550) will feature a broad range of products for embedded applications, including low-profile power inductors with footprints as small as 1.14x0.635mm, maximum heights as low as 0.50mm and current ratings up to 20A.
High voltage moulded power inductors
Coilcraft has expanded its market-proven XEL Family of high-performance, moulded power inductors to include three new higher-voltage series: the XEL401xV, XEL4020V and XEL4030V. All three offer operating voltage ratings of 120V, 50% higher than the standard versions.
High-efficiency power inductors for 48V automotive applications
Coilcraft’s new AGM2222 Series power inductors offer current ratings up to 110A and low DCR in a package measuring just 22x22x23mm, a 73% volume reduction from previous-generation products. This significant improvement in power density makes the AGM2222 well suited for high-current applications including automotive bi-directional 12 to 48V DC/DC converters.
Two low-profile 0402-sized chip inductors
Coilcraft has introduced two new series of low-profile wirewound chip inductors, the 0402CT Series and the 0402FL Series. The 0402CT Series features a ceramic core and has a maximum height of just 0.45mm, a 30% lower profile than competitive products.
Surface mount power line EMI chokes
Coilcraft’s new Cx Family of surface-mount common mode chokes includes 16 sizes/configurations for a broad range of power line circuits. They suppress high frequency common mode noise up to 100MHz and offer greater than 40dB common mode attenuation, making them ideal for use in consumer electronics and industrial applications.
High-inductance shielded power inductors minimise buzzing
The new series of high-temperature power inductors, the XAL7050 Series, is now available from Coilcraft, with inductance values from 22 to 47µH and current ratings as high as 5.5A, with low DCR for greater efficiency. For lower inductance values, Coilcraft offers a lower-profile companion, the XAL7030, with an identical footprint and inductance range of 0.16 to 10µH.
Power inductors have lowest DC losses
At this year’s PCIM, Coilcraft will be featuring its new XGL4020 series of moulded power inductors. According to the company, they have the industry’s lowest DC losses and extremely low AC losses for a wide range of DC/DC converters (from hundreds of kHz up to +5MHz).
Low-profile power inductors for embedded computing systems
At embedded world 2019, Coilcraft’s stand (Hall 3 / 3-550) will feature a broad range of products for embedded applications, including low-profile power inductors with footprints as small as 1.14x0.635mm, maximum heights as low as 0.50mm and current ratings up to 20A.
Wirewound ferrite beads offer a high magnitude of attenuation
A broad range of wirewound ferrite beads are offered by Coilcraft, in standard package sizes from 0201 (0603) to 1812 (4532). Superior attenuation and frequency performance enable smaller solution sizes compared to traditional thick-film chip ferrite beads.
Low loss power inductors designed for high frequency applications
Coilcraft has introduced its new XEL50xx Family of high performance, molded power inductors that offer low DC resistance and ultra-low AC losses, improving power converter efficiency at high frequencies (2-5MHz) and high ripple current.
