AVX Corporation has developed a new series of enhanced MLC capacitors specifically designed for general ESD protection. Available in standard 0603, 0805, and 1206 case sizes, the new ESD-Safe MLC Chip’s small footprint makes them ideal for high density electronic devices like automotive modules, which often use ESD caps on nearly every pin.

AVX is now exceeding the 100V milestone - which is almost twice the rated voltage of similar products on the market today - with the introduction of its new high voltage TCJ series 6.8µF/100V (V case) and TCJ series 3.3µF/125V (D case) tantalum polymer SMD capacitors.

AVX Corporation is introducing new Schottky rectifier diodes designed for switching power supply applications. A unique lead-less packaging technology eliminates the lead frame and wire bond to give the chip top-bottom symmetry for fewer mounting problems, and better heat transfer and current handling capability.

AVX Corporation has recently developed two new series of TES molded tantalum and TCH hermetically sealed SMD tantalum polymer hi-rel capacitors offering very low ESR, high capacitance and high voltage. AVX Corporation has expanded its RF product line with the development of two new air core RF inductor series. Available in a wide variety of sizes and inductances, the new AL and AS Series RF inductors feature high Q, excellent SRF, an inductance range spanning 1.65nH to 538nH, and current handling from 1.6A to 4.4A. Both series are also lead-free and RoHS compliant.

The new 9159 Series IDC connectors facilitate the easy, reliable, and cost-effective termination of 22-24AWG discrete or cabled power and signal wires into standard 9159 Series two-piece connectors systems, maximizing their flexibility by providing them with wire-to-board capabilities.

AVX has today unveiled a new series of multilayer chip inductors designed for impedance matching, RF chokes, and high frequency filters to its expansive portfolio of thin film, MLO, power, and conical inductors. Designated the LCMC Series, the new multilayer chip inductors provide excellent Q, high SRF, a wide range of stable and accurate inductances, and tight tolerances down to 0.3nH.
