Successful C-V2X field test gains momentum in China
Autotalks is gaining momentum in the Chinese market following the successful completion of the C-V2X field test with a Chinese technology giant. The field trial evidenced Autotalks' C-V2X capabilities on a public road, including 3GPP release 15 compliant transmit diversity, and remarkable communication range of over 2km with a nominal range of over 1.5km.
C-V2X capabilities demonstrated at CES 2019
Specialist in V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) communications solutions, Autotalks, was selected by HARMAN International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, focused on connected technologies for automotive, consumer and enterprise markets, to provide the V2X chipset for its Telematics platform which will be showcased at CES 2019.
C-V2X chipsets validated in record time
Rohde & Schwarz and Autotalks have successfully tested Autotalks’ second generation chipset as the C-V2X UE with the R&S CMW100 communication tester. During the test, multiple test scenarios were verified for transmission and reception of C-V2X direct communications (PC5) based on 3GPP Release 14 using GNSS based synchronisation.

Autotalks’ deployment-ready, second-gen V2X chipset is capable of supporting both DSRC and C-V2X direct communications (PC5 protocol) at the highest security level. The chipset supports DSRC based on 802.11p/ITS-G5 standards and C-V2X based on 3GPP specifications.
Autotalks expands its Asian presence
