Arrow signs up to Siemens' Mindsphere program
Arrow Electronics has joined the MindSphere Partner Program, Siemens’ program for industrial IoT solution and technology providers. MindSphere is the cloud-based, open IoT operating system from Siemens that connects products, plants, systems and machines, enabling businesses to harness the wealth of data generated by the IoT with advanced analytics.
IIoT demonstrations to the fore at the Hanover Fair

NarrowBand-IoT functionality added to ARIS-EDGE
The ARIS (Arrow Renesas IoT Synergy) platform for developing Internet of Things (IoT) devices has been extended by introducing the ARIS-EDGE-NB-IoT shield. The shield, made by Shiratech, features a Quectel BG96 module and plugs onto the ARIS-EDGE-S3 board, which is based on the low-power Renesas Synergy S3A3 microcontroller.
Agreement extends relay offering to EMEA
It has been announced by Arrow Electronics, that it will supply Hongfa’s relays and related products throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Hongfa is a Chinese relay manufacturers and relays make up the majority of Hongfa’s business with reportedly more than 160 series, 40,000 specifications and an annual production capacity of 1.5 billion pieces.
